Terms and conditions

1. Who we are

Assortica is operated by Globway International B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands (2651 AV Berkel en Rodenrijs) under number 66882915. In these terms “we” and “us” mean that company, and “you” means the person holding the membership. You can reach us at contact@assortica.com.

2. What the membership gives you

A membership gives you personal access to all six libraries on assortica.com for as long as it is running, together with the selection published at the start of each week. It is a right of access for the period you have paid for and not a purchase of the material itself.

  • The membership is personal, for you and the people in your household.
  • You may print material for your own use and for your household.
  • You may not resell, republish or share the material outside your household, and you may not use it commercially.

3. Who may join

You must be at least 18 years old and be the holder of the PayPal account used for the payment, or have that holder’s permission.

4. Price and payment

The membership costs £7.99 per month including VAT. Payment is taken through PayPal on the date you joined and on the same date each month afterwards. We do not receive or store your card details.

If a payment fails we will try again and let you know. If it still cannot be taken, access pauses until it is settled.

5. How long it lasts and how it ends

The membership runs from month to month. There is no minimum term and no notice period. It continues until you end it.

You end it yourself in your own PayPal account, under the automatic payments for Assortica. You do not need our agreement and you do not need to contact us first. Cancelling stops future payments; your access continues to the end of the month you have already paid for.

We may end a membership if it is used in a way these terms do not allow, or if the payment cannot be collected. If we do that without a reason on your side, we refund the part of the month you have paid for and not used.

6. Your right to change your mind

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you normally have 14 days to change your mind about something bought at a distance. Because the libraries open immediately, you are asked when you join to agree that delivery starts straight away and to acknowledge that you then lose that 14 day right.

If you would rather keep the right, do not open the libraries and write to us within 14 days at contact@assortica.com, and we will refund you in full.

7. Changes to the price or these terms

We may change the price or these terms. We will tell you in writing, to the address on your account, in good time and before the change takes effect. A change never applies to a month you have already paid for, and you may cancel before it starts.

8. What we can and cannot promise

We aim to keep assortica.com available at all times, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or a fault beyond our control. Where a fault is on our side and lasts long enough to matter, write to us and we will put it right or refund the affected period.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UK consumer law, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

9. The material in the libraries

Everything in the libraries is either made for Assortica or is a work that is free of rights. It remains the property of Globway International B.V. or of the original rights holder. Product names or trade marks that appear anywhere on this website belong to their owners, and their appearance does not imply any connection with them.

10. Personal data

What we do with your details is set out in our privacy policy, and how this website uses cookies is set out in our cookie policy.

11. Complaints and applicable law

Write to contact@assortica.com and we will reply within one working day and aim to settle any complaint within 14 days. If you live in the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the UK and you may bring proceedings in the UK courts.
